As of late, I’ve become quite a minimalist when it comes to my make-up. I haven’t always been this way. I used to be the first to try the trendiest eyeshadow palettes and collect dozens of nude lip colors. Recently, I’ve been a lot more intentional in using products that work to enhance my natural features rather than change how I look.
Last week when I was organizing my bathroom, I decided it was time to purge my beauty drawers. Gosh, I wish I would have taken a photo of everything that I purged. It felt so good to get rid of old products. While I was reorganizing, I thought it might be fun to share with you the products that I’ve been loyal to over the years. This is a list of every beauty product that I own and love. Obviously, I don’t use all of these every day, but I love knowing that each of these has a purpose and will get used. I hope this list will serve as a good reference to you. I’ll make sure to update it as I find products that I love and are worth repurchasing.
Every Beauty Product That I Own and Love
SKIN PREP
YSL Blur Primer in Gold // I’m convinced that this is the most underrated primer on the market. It leaves your skin looking like an Instagram filter. Even on days that I don’t wear foundation, I’ll apply a thin layer of this primer to blur out any imperfections. This may be TMI, but I have some large pores on my nose, and this primer works wonders to minimize their appearance.
Tatcha Eye Cream // I’ve mentioned this eye cream several times on the blog. I love how silky it feels and how instantly hydrated my eyes feel. The formula is great to fill in those pesky fine lines.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag // You all know my obsession with Jet Lag! I swear by this moisturizer. I keep mine in the refrigerator and it feels so good when I apply it in the morning.
Supergoop Unseen SPF 40 // I’m a major advocate of SPF. Ladies, the tan isn’t worth the skin damage. Embrace whatever color your skin is – light, medium, dark, there’s a unique beauty to every color. Always, always, always apply SPF. You’ll thank yourself in 20 years when you don’t have any sunspots.
FACE
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation // This has been my foundation since college. I’ve ventured to other formulas, but nothing has ever lived-up to Double Wear. This foundation leaves your face looking flawless. I love that it stays on all day. During the spring and summer, I apply a drop of face oil to the foundation before I apply. The face oil will give you a dewy look, but go light on the face oil…just one small drop.
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector // My mom had this on her vanity one day, and I decided to try it, and I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s so easy to apply and counteracts any discoloration under my eyes. I instantly look like I slept 8+ hours.
Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Illuminating Setting Powder // This setting power is so lovely. Illuminating is the perfect word to describe it. A thin layer over your make-up leaves you with the softest feminine glow. I use the shade ‘nude’ all year round. For those days that you don’t feel like wearing any make-up, do a quick sweep of this setting powder for a glow-from-within look.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder // There’s a reason this is the best-selling setting powder. It’s very lightweight and smooths out the texture of your skin. It leaves you with a flawless make-up application that will last all day. I tend to stay away from translucent powders because 99% of them are white, not translucent, but this has just enough of a tint that it looks like skin.
Chanel Les Beiges Glow Sheer Powder // In full transparency, I bought this months ago because I loved the script on the compact. I ended up loving it so much that I repurchased it.
EYES
Urban Decay Naked Palette // This palette is a staple for most of us. The rose-hued neutrals are beautiful. I love the formula of Urban Decay’s eye shadows; they are so velvety and blend seamlessly. If you’re creative with your application, you’ll be able to create some gorgeous looks. I’ve been able to create some nice smokey eyes for special events.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara // This is another one of those products that I’ve used for years, tried other formulas, and always come back to BTS. One coat leaves lashes so well defined. Three coats and you’ll have the most intense lashes you could imagine. It’s a lash treatment without the risk.
Ilia Limitless Mascara // If you’re looking for a clean mascara, this one is the best I’ve tried. I alternate between Limitless and BTS. In my opinion, this one gives you a more natural elevated lash than BTS.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz // This is the only brow product I use because of how natural it looks. The tip of the pencil is very slim, which makes it super easy to fill in any gaps with small strokes.
Chanel Ombre Cream Eyeshadow in 804 // This is my favorite shadow, especially during the summer! The formula is so smooth and creamy. It gives you a sheer, soft, and shimmery lid. The color 804 is gorgeous and perfect for a golden goddess look. I don’t blend any other shadows with it.
Marc Jacobs Crayon Eyeliner in Black & Pink of Me // These are my favorite liners. They are really easy to apply and smudge-proof. I use the color black to line my top lid, and I use ‘Pink of Me’ to line my waterline.
Bareminerals Nude Palette in Rose// I bought this palette for a wedding last year and ended up repurchasing it a couple of months ago. It’s a great basic palette to have in your collection. The colors are very easy to blend, and it’s the perfect size to take when you’re traveling. If you have green or grey eyes, the shade ‘wild child’ will make your eyes pop.
Chanel Eyeshadow Contour Liner // I have this liner in several colors. These are great because you can use them as eyeshadow or eyeliner. The formula is pretty creamy and very buildable. The shades ‘Nude Eclat’ and ‘Contour Mauve’ are lovely. This is another product that I love to take with me when I travel because it’s small and multi-use.
Glossier Skywash // These shadows are my latest obsession. My favorites shades are ‘Pool’ and ‘Pebble’. They are pretty sheer but have just enough pigment to pop your eye color.
LIPS
Chanel CoCo Rouge Flash in Lumiére // This is my favorite lip color! It’s a very feminine sheer peachy pink. It’s very hydrated and has the slightest shine. If you’re looking for an everyday peachy-pink, this is the best.
Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss in Rose Pulpe // This was an impulse purchase a few months ago and a gloss that I will be repurchasing. The shade ‘rose pulpe’ is my favorite; it’s so beautiful. It’s a true light pink. This formula isn’t sticky like most glosses and lasts for hours.
MAC Amplified in Blankety // This has been a staple lipstick for me since college. It’s a pink-toned nude that I’ve seen look beautiful on every skin tone. You’ll always find Blankety in my purse.
Nars Powermatte Lip in Save the Queen // This formula by Nars is amazing. It stays on all day and doesn’t make my lips feel or look dry. ‘Save the Queen’ is a beautiful dusty mauve for fall.
Stila Liquid Lipstick in Baci // This the only other matte liquid lip that I repurchase every year. I buy the mini tube during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s a darker pink-toned color that transitions well from late summer into fall.
ENHANCERS
Becca Shimmering Pressed Highlighter // I’m obsessed with this highlighter. It’s the only one that I use. Over the past couple of years, I’ve collected just about every color. My favorites are ‘Champagne Pop, Rose Quartz, and Opal.’ If I’m running late in the morning, I use this as my eye shadow and just do a little highlight on my cheeks to wake-up my face.
Glossier Cloud Paint Blush // I’m obsessed with this blush. I love the look of flushed cheeks! It’s so easy to apply and easily buildable. I use the colors ‘puff’ and ‘haze.’ Some days this is the only thing I’ll apply to my face, just to add a little color.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette // There’s a reason that this is a staple for make-up artists. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was a highlight or finishing powder. You can use it as either. The colors beautifully diffuse and soften the way light reflects on your skin.
Nars Blush in Orgasm // I’ve had this blush for years. It is a beautiful natural peachy pink with the slightest shimmer. For those days that I need my make-up to last all day or when I’m craving a more refined look, I’ll opt for this blush over Cloud Paint.
Nars Bronzer Powder // To be honest, I don’t use bronzer very much, nor do I contour. I prefer just to use blush and a highlighter. I’m not a big fan of creating shadows on my face. On days that I feel like I need a little color, this bronzer is my favorite. It’s a warm, tan color.
Hoola Matte Bronzer // This is another bronzer that’s served me well over the years. I use the shade ‘natural bronze’ all year. It blends easily and is one of the best if you have fair skin like me. It doesn’t have much shimmer, so it looks like a natural kiss from the sun.

FRAGRANCE
Byredo Bal d’Afrique // If I had to choose one fragrance for the rest of my life, it would be Bal d’Afrique by Byredo. I talk about this one all the time on the blog. It’s one of the most unique and complex scents. It’s a warm summer fragrance, but I use it all year. It has top notes of bergamot, lemon, neroli, and African marigold, middle notes of violet, jasmine, and cyclamen, and the base of black amber, musk, vetiver, and Moroccan cedarwood. If you’re interested in fragrances, I think you enjoy this post.
EXTRAS
Cuyana Travel Case Set // I love these travel cases. The quality of Cuyana’s leather is amazing. Mine has lasted for several years.
Tatcha Blotting Papers // These are the best blotting papers! They always sell out so fast so when they are restocked I order several to keep on hand.
