Sephora Spring Sale Recommendations {20}

Hi friends! I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe. I had a couple of people reach out and ask for my recommendations from the Sephora Spring Sale. I really enjoyed writing this post for you guys! Hopefully, it will serve you even after the spring sale as a reference for skincare, beauty, hair, and fragrance recommendations from Sephora.

This year I’ve been focusing on skincare and simplifying my make-up routine. My skin has done a complete 180 in since last summer, and I couldn’t be happier. I spend more days without make-up than with make-up! I never thought I would be comfortable enough to do that. I wrote these detailed posts on my morning skincare routine and evening skincare routine that you may find helpful 🙂

SKINCARE

SK-II Essence // If you only buy one thing during the sale, let it be SK-II Essence. This miracle water transforms your skin like no other product. It takes about a month to see results, but I promise if you use it consistently, your skin will be glowing. A bottle lasts about six months. The directions recommend applying it with a cotton ball, but I feel like that wastes product, so I just use several drops on my hand and pat it on my face. I talked more about how it cleared my acne in this post.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair // This is my second favorite product, close behind SK-II Essence. Now that I’m in my late 20s, I’m focused on being proactive in the anti-aging department. I wrote about this serum in this post. A couple of months ago, I met a 98-year-old woman whose skin was flawless. Her secret – lots of water and she’s been using this serum for 35 years every night. I apply it half a dropper on my face and neck. The 1.7oz bottle lasts me about six months.

Summer Fridays Cleanser // I’ve been using this cleanser for a couple of months now, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It takes off my make-up and leaves my skin feeling clean. It does have some time of a fragrance component, but the cleanser is very gentle and I haven’t experienced any irritation. This is another cleanser I love.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask // This is my favorite moisturizer. I love how hydrated my skin feels and how dewy it looks after using Jet Lag. A little goes a long way.

Tatcha Vitamin C + AHA Serum // I love Tatcha products. This serum combines Vitamin C and fruit AHAs to help combat dullness and fine lines. I first started using Vitamin C a couple of years ago and notice a difference in the texture of my skin in about two months. Fair warning, all vitamin C serums smell like hot dog water and are a little sticky when you first apply. Why? Idk. I’ve researched for hours and can never seem to find an answer. Another Vitamin C serum I love is this one. I can’t say I like one over the other, they both work well. I switch back and forth between these two. Keep your Vitamin C in the refrigerator so that it doesn’t oxidize.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir // This is one of those fun, extra, and nice products to have on hand. Is it necessary, no, but it’s a good little treat for yourself or someone. You can use it as a toner after cleansing, or you can use it as a face mist to reset your make-up midday. It feels like a mini little spa treatment.

Drunk Elephant Babyfacial // I use this once a week as a treatment mask. It’s one of the best masks I’ve ever used. My skin feels so incredibly soft after I wash it off, and it does wonders for unclogging my pores. I have pretty sensitive skin, and given that this is a peel, I found it helpful to ease into the 20 minutes the product recommends. It has a high conservation of AHAs, and it’s a peel, so don’t be surprised if your skin is a little irritated your first couple of uses. That’s normal.

Foreo Luna // This is my favorite little cleansing device. After reading about how much bacteria builds-up on traditional brushes, I decided to invest in a silicone brush because it’s resistant to bacteria. It’s light and small enough to pack in my travel case. A single charge lasts five months.

Isles of Paradise Tanning Drops // This is the only self-tanner that I use. It’s really easy to apply and looks natural. I use the color dark and apply a couple of drops to my moisturizer and body lotion every day. I have white linens, and it’s never stained my bed, which is a major plus when it comes to self-tanners.

Tatcha Eye Cream // I’m very particular when it comes to eye cream. I look for something hydrating and smooth. This eye cream feels like silk and soaks into your skin nicely. I’ve noticed a difference in the appearance of my crows’ feet. A little goes a long way. I’ve had the same jar for eight months now, and it’s still going strong.

BEAUTY

Estee Lauder Doublewear // This is my favorite foundation. It’s full-coverage and lasts all-day! My make-up looks just as good at 6pm as it did at 6am when I first applied it. When I’m feeling like a dewy look, I add a drop of face oil directly to the foundation before I apply it.

YSL Blur Primer // This is the most underrated beauty product on the market. It is basically an Instagram beauty filter in a bottle. I like the gold color.

Becca Pressed Highlighter // My mom introduced me to these highlighters several years ago and I’m obsessed. I tried every color. I use them as highlighters and eyeshadow. My favorite colors are: Champagne Pop, Rose Quartz, and Opal. This limited edition set has both Champagne Pop and Vanilla Quartz. I not sure what it is about the formula but it looks so natural.

Lawless Lip // If you love MAC lipsticks, you’ll love these Cream lipsticks from Lawless. They are beautifully pigmented and last all day. The colors are meant to be nude so if you’re looking for natural lipstick colors, these are great.

Marc Jacobs Eyeliner // I swear by these eyeliners. They are so creamy and basically glide on. They’re also water-proof. I use black to line my eyelid and the color “Pink of Me” to line my waterline.

Better Than Sex Mascara // I love this mascara. One coat leaves your lashes looking so full and defined. If you want a mascara that’s clean beauty, I recently tried this one and really liked it.

HAIR

T3 Curling Iron Set // This is my curling iron. This set comes with three barrels – 1″, 1.25″, and 1.5″. My curls last all-day and look so natural effortless. I’ve had mine for about 4 years and it’s still working well. The 1in barrel will give you pretty defined curls/waves. The 1.25in curl will give you medium-sized curls. This is the one I use the most. The 1.5in barrel will give you large, bouncy voluminous curls.

FRAGRANCE

This sale is the ideal time to buy a new perfume! Fragrances can be tricky, I wrote a guide on choosing the perfect fragrance that may help you decide on the perfect one – A Lovely Guide To Fragrance. These are two of my favorites.

Maison Margiela Beach Walk // This is one of my favorite scents. It’s a signature in my fragrance collection. I’ve been wearing it during quarantine for a mental escape. I wrote about it in this post. I promise you’ll love it for spring and summer.

Jo Malone’ Peony & Blush Suede’// This fragrance is the essence of luxury and charm, and so romantic. Red apple, peony, and suede make-up the notes of this signature scent. It’s flirty, sensual, fresh, and lovely.

I hope you enjoyed these recommendations from the Sephora Spring Sale! If I missed any of your favorite products let me know!
